KISS A KANGAROO IN NEW SOUTH WALES
Have you ever wanted to see Australian Kangaroos up close and personal? In Morisset Park, you can do just that, and the kangaroos are adorable! Morisset Park is best visited by car. It is in northern New South Wales, 120 kilometres north of Sydney. The best place to see them is in the open bush land next to the Morisset Hospital. It feels a bid odd as you drive into the psychiatric hospital but make at right at the end of Silky Oak Drive, and you have arrived.
The Kangaroos are friendly and comfortable around humans here, but I would not want to make one of the big ones mad. While some are big, others are baby’s. In the summer midday heat they are harder to see as they seek the shade. It is posted “no feeding” but still some bring bananas and carrots. Go on a drive and take a selfie with a kangaroo. Morisset Park is a wonderful place to see kangaroos up close and personal in the wild, just don’t forget your camera.
