« Reiki is an art of living and healing. All art requires discipline - that of faith, commitment, focus and self-control.» - Paul Mitchell -#reikiusui #reiki #holistique #soindelame #soins

The origins

This ancestral method of laying on of hands was rediscovered by Mikao Usui professor of theology at the University of Kyoto in Japan. One day, one of these students asked him if he believed in the miracles of Jesus and Buddha and if he could demonstrate such a miracle. Usui did not know what to answer him, but the question caused him great changes.

Everything is energy, and that is all there is to understand in life. Align yourself with the frequency of the reality you want and that reality will manifest. It can not be otherwise. It's not philosophy, it's physics.” - Albert Einstein -

In 1922, when the latter undertook a period of meditation for 21 days on Mount Kurama, history tells us that he had a mystical appearance. An intense light would have gone to the chakra of the 3rd eye in which he discovered the symbols as well as their meanings and activations. On his last day, coming down from the sacred mountain, Mikao Usui injured his toe, which caused him severe pain and bleeding. When he instinctively surrounded him with his hands, they became hot and the pain disappeared. It was his first experience of spontaneous healing. He later cured a young girl’s dental pain and an abbot’s arthritis. He had finally found what he had been looking for so much; transmit this therapeutic energy, which he called "Reiki" Rei (universal life) Ki (energy) which would translate to universal energy of life and this is how the REIKI method of USUI was born. In the same year, he opened his first Reiki clinic in Tokyo where he treated a large number of patients by transmitting Universal Energy to them. In 1925 Usui met Chujiro Hayashi, he introduced him to Reiki and chose him as his successor. The latter opened a clinic and in turn trained practitioners. energie #développement #spiritualité

In 1935, a young Hawaiian girl named Hawayo Takata, who suffered from several serious disorders, including a tumor, decided to enter the Hayashi clinic for treatment. She stayed there for several months and came out completely healed. She was so impressed that she decided to be initiated. Takata then became her pupil and stayed with him for 1 year before returning to Hawaii where she opened her clinic, the first in the West.

A few years later, Hayashi passed on the latest teachings to her so that she, in turn, could teach and become a "Reiki Master Teacher." Takata made several trips to the United States and Canada where she taught how to use Reiki to heal and heal others as well as the level of Mastery. At his death Hawayo Takata had trained 22 Reiki Masters and thanks to them, Reiki spread and gained the West. Unlike other healing practices, Reiki is not learned, it is only transmitted in the form of initiations. It is open to everyone and its initiation is irreversible.

"If Reiki could spread around the world, it would touch the hearts of humans and the mentality of society. It would be a great help to many of us, healing not only diseases, but also the Earth as a whole. "- Maxime, engraved on the tomb of Dr. Usui -

Its learning is presented in several levels:

The first level, is the first step to becoming a therapist. This requires no special experience or skill, other than having an open mind. His training is basic and takes place over two consecutive days of approximately 3 hours each. After this first initiation, a self-treatment of 21 days is required. You will then be advised to practice Reiki for a minimum of 3 months in order to get your body used to a higher vibratory rate and to have enough experience before going to level 2.

The second level deepens therapeutic knowledge and skills while supporting our spiritual development. During this teaching, you learn the symbols, their meaning and their use as well as the therapeutic methods like psychic healing from a distance.

The third level develops energy flow by increasing the personal energy of each student. This is where the student becomes a Reiki Master Teacher. It is also intended for people who have required sufficient experience.

The 5 Principles of Reiki

Today, I don't worry

Our fear of the unknown prevents us from trusting ourselves and living fully. This is about letting go and facing any circumstance with complete confidence.

I don’t get angry today

Anger is a feeling of pain and deep wounds that should not be nurtured. You have to recognize your anger, interact with it, learn to forgive and release it.

Today I live honestly

Being honest with yourself and others often requires a lot of courage, but it is important for our spiritual development to accept ourselves and others, to do what we love and to have fun.

Today, I show gratitude and respect to all living things

The key to happiness is Gratitude. Every evening we should thank life for all the happiness it brought us during the day, for the food, the smile of a passerby, the laughter of a child ... And so thank it every morning for the new day that rises. Let us be grateful and respectful to her.

Today, I honor the people I meet

We are all teachers and students at the same time, which is why we have to learn from each other. Each person that life puts in our way is there for a reason, thank there, honor there and respect there.

« Today » is to remind us to live in the present moment, because yesterday is no longer and tomorrow may never be.
